RICHMOND – The Academy of General Dentistry recently announced Dentist James K. Reichle of Richmond received the association’s Mastership Award during the organization’s 2014 Annual Meeting & Exhibits in June in Detroit.

The Mastership Award is the AGD’s highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession, according to a news release. The professional association of 38,000 general dentists is dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public.

As a Mastership Award recipient, Reichle joins about 2,300 active AGD Masters who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patients’ oral health.

“This award requires an extraordinary amount of time and effort,” AGD President W. Carter Brown said in a statement. “Dr. Reichle should be commended for his unflagging commitment to continuing education, which allows him to provide the best possible dental care and oral health education to his patients.”

Reichle graduated from Marquette University in 1998 and practices general dentistry in Richmond at Smiles by Design Group. For information, Smiles by Design Group can be reached at 815-678-4551 or sbdg@smilesbydesigngrp.com.
