PRAIRIE GROVE – The Prairie Grove Police Department is advising residents to be aware of personal belongings and vehicles after four reported burglaries between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The four incidents were vehicle break-ins, Prairie Grove Police Sgt. Tony Colatorti said.

No additional details were made available. The burglaries are still under investigation, but Colatorti said this is the second string of burglaries in two weeks.

A Nixle alert from Prairie Grove police reminds residents to make sure vehicles parked outdoors are locked and all electronic devices, garage door openers, purses and wallets are removed from the vehicle.

The alert also advises people to always lock residence doors, leave an exterior light on at night and alert police of any suspicious activity by dialing 911.
