Shared sorrow

To the Editor:

Our family would like to thank the Crystal Lake Police Department, paramedics and the McHenry County coroner’s office for all they did for our son June 12.

For those of you who extended sympathy to our family with a card, letter, phone call, gift, food item, flowers, donation, pictures, prayers or hugged us and cried with us, we want to extend our forever gratitude.

If you attended or was part of the wake service or funeral Mass for our son, Christopher, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. He loved and was loved dearly. Our hearts are broken, and our life will never be the same without him. Thank you for showing us so much love and support at this difficult time.

To Pablo’s – Jenni and Sarah Sobel – may God bless you abundantly for your generosity. What you did for our family and in celebration of Chris’ life is immeasurable. There are no words to describe what your kindness meant to our family. May the grace of God bring you peace, love and happiness always.

There are many, many of you – family and friends – who have shared in our sorrow. We thank God for each and every one of you.

God bless you.
