Lake in the Hills looking for extended time care staff

LAKE IN THE HILLS – The village's parks and recreation department is accepting applications for its Extended Time Care Program, according to a news release.

Responsibilities will include supervising and leading daily activities. Applicants will need to be energetic, have a warm personality that draws children, effective communication skills, and an obligation to safety, the news release said.

Applicants have to be at least 16 years old and have experience working with children, the news release said. The parks and recreation department hopes to have people who have experience working with children with special needs and have CPR certification.

The job pays $8.25 an hour, and is from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at Lincoln Prairie Elementary, when District 300 is in session.
