Woodstock man arrested on multiple drug charges

Juan M. Huerta, a 41-year-old Woodstock resident, was arrested Wednesday for multiple drug offenses, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

WOODSTOCK – Juan M. Huerta, a 41-year-old Woodstock resident, was arrested Wednesday for multiple drug offenses, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Rockford DEA, the Woodstock Police Department and the sheriff's office intelligence led policing unit served a search warrant on the address in the 2100 block of Serenity Lane in Woodstock.

As a result of the investigation, three grams of cocaine, two grams of marijuana, one Xanax pill, three ecstasy pills, two scales, packaging material and drug paraphernalia were recovered, according to the release.

The sheriff's office estimates the street value of the seized narcotics at approximately $400.

Huerta was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
