CARY – Two people suffered injuries that were not life-threatening Monday after a head-on crash in Cary, police said.
The incident occurred about 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Route 14 and West Main Street in Cary, according to Sgt. Scott Naydenoff.
It appears the crash occurred after one of the drivers disobeyed a red light, Naydenoff said.
Each vehicle had one occupant and both were taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
The intersection was shut down to one lane on each road for about 20 minutes, Naydenoff said.
