CRYSTAL LAKE – No serious injuries were sustained Tuesday after a vehicle drove into a shallow trench in front of a Crystal Lake residence, according to the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department.
The call for a single-vehicle incident came in about 1 p.m., emergency dispatch said.
A driver apparently lost control of her vehicle, resulting in the crash on High Line Road, said Lt. Darrell Cook of the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department.
On the scene, Cook said it appeared there were no serious injuries, and little to no damage to the vehicle.
The only potential damage, he added, might be to a small pine tree in the resident's front yard.
