One injured after Ringwood crash

RINGWOOD – One person was transported Sunday to Centegra Hospital-McHenry with non-life threatening injuries after a crash at the intersection of Route 31 and School Road, according to the McHenry Township Fire Protection District.

Emergency responders were called to the scene of a reported accident at 2:36 p.m. Sunday, Battalion Chief Joe Krueger said.

One person sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash, which involved a single motorcycle, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Krueger said traffic on Route 31 was held for about 20 minutes while responders worked the scene.
