FOX LAKE – The village of Fox Lake is hosting a blood drive at its Village Hall.

Volunteers can stop by from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 22 to donate blood in the council chambers at Fox Lake Village Hall, 66 Thillen Drive.

Appointments are recommended and can be made by contacting LifeSource at 877-543-3768 or online at www.lifesource.org using sponsor code FL01.

Donors will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last. Employees of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine and their immediate family members are not eligible.

LifeSource recommends donors prepare by eating well and staying hydrated. They should also bring a form of identification, which can include a LifeSource ID, military ID, driver's license, passport or employee or student ID that includes a picture and full name.
