Amber Alert for two siblings cancelled

WAUKEGAN – An Amber Alert was cancelled Thursday afternoon.

An alert had been issued for two toddlers thought to be taken by their father.

Dyniste S. Finley, 4, and her brother, Dejavante D. Finley, 3, were reported abducted 9:20 a.m. Thursday from 15 S. Country St., Waukegan, according to the alert.

The two children are black and believed to be in the custody of their father, a 23-year-old black man also named Dejavante D. Finley, the alert said. Finley was last seen driving a 2006 dark blue Chevrolet Malibu with the temporary Wisconsin license plate K7561C.

Finley is considered armed and dangerous, the alert said. He is about 5'5", weighs 130 pounds and has several tattos and braided hair with a pink hair tie. He is wearing a gray T-shirt, light blue jeans, and blue and black Nike tennis shoes

The boy is wearing a gray shirt, blue shorts, and black and white shoes, the alert said. The girl is wearing a pink shirt and skirt with gold sandals. She has minor scratch marks under her right eye.
