Heritage Fair success

To the Editor:

Our 29th annual Heritage Fair in July was a huge success thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, vendors, a supportive public and our many sponsors.

At the top of the list is Intren and FirstMerit Bank of Union, which underwrote our popular car show. This year, more than 100 vehicles participated. A number of other donors deserve public recognition, as well. Thanks to Checkers Restaurant, Clasen’s Tavern and Smithfield Bar-BBQ in Union; Joe’s Place, NAPA Auto Parts, Wayne’s Country Market and Castle Bank in Marengo; Diva’s Closet, Papa G’s and The Thoughtfulness Shop in Woodstock; and T.J.’s Klassics, Culver’s, Subway, Sammy’s Restaurant, Rosati’s Pizza and Vintage Resale in Huntley.

It is only because of your support that we are able to accomplish so much. See you Oct. 5 at Cider Fest.
