MARENGO – The Marengo Township electronic recycling program will be discontinued at the end of the month because of recent cost constraints.
The program, E-Scrap, will be suspended as of Monday after the entity that picks up the recycled items begins charging for its services, Marengo Township Highway Commissioner John Adamson said.
He added the program will charge to drop items off if it is reinstated.
It will remain inactive until Adamson can determine a cost breakdown, he said.
