The McHenry County Division of Transportation plans to perform pavement maintenance and patching work on Randall Road beginning next month.

The work will take place at night between Harnish Drive and Alexandra Boulevard.

The county plans the overnight work in order to minimize the impact on traffic and businesses, according to a letter from County Construction Manager James Werner.

Work is scheduled to begin in early September and end in late October.
