Golf roundup: Natalie Flynn leads Johnsburg girls over Dundee-Crown

At Bonnie Dundee in East Dundee, Johnsburg sophomore Natalie Flynn shot a career-low 49 to earn co-medalist honors with Dundee-Crown's Madelyn Schroeder, leading the Skyhawks (2-2) to a 209-215 nonconference victory over the Chargers.

Johnsburg's Madelyn Schroeder D-C's Kylie Kost finished second on their respective teams with a 52.

Harvard 252, Genoa-Kingston 295: At the Oak Club of Genoa, Kayleigh Isonhart carded a 48 and earned medalist honors in the Big Northern Conference win. Elizabeth Wright added a 63 for Harvard (1-5, 1-0 BNC).


Richmond-Burton 160, Rockford Lutheran 177: At Sinnissippi Park in Rockford, the Rockets (5-0, 2-0) were led by medalist Jordan Hahn, who shot a 2-under-par 35, in a BNC win. Joey Pegura (40), Nick Becker (42), and Tim Duex (43) rounded out the scoring for R-B.

Hampshire 170, Grayslake North 187: At the Oak Club of Genoa, Myles Miller and Jake Tuttle each shot a 5-over-par 40 and earned co-medalist honors in the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division victory.

Genoa-Kingston Triangular: At the Oak Club of Genoa, Harvard's Tyler Garafol earned medalist honors with a 42. Genoa-Kingston won the meet with a 187, followed by the Hornets (189) and West Chicago (203).

McHenry 161, Cary-Grove 163: At McHenry Country Club, the Warriors edged the Trojans by two strokes in FVC Valley action. McHenry's Ben Prisching and C-G's Kyle Irlbacker earned co-medalist honors with a 3-over 38.
