Back in the 1980’s, seniors were viewed this way… the plea of an elderly woman relying on her emergency monitoring device. Well, things have certainly changed. Today, television viewers are bombarded with ads for Viagra and Cialis, assuring older men that they can count on the miracle of modern medicine to make sure they will be “ready when the moment is right”. We hear a lot about the “Boomers”… this group is large and has most definitely transformed America’s marketplace for goods and services. 78 million strong, Baby Boomers now age 50 and older represent 32% of the U.S. population and control 77% of the nation’s net worth! WOW! Madison Avenue better continue to update their antiquated viewpoint of consumers over age 50 and they better do it fast.

By 2030, the 65-plus population is expected to nearly double, from 40 million today to over 73 million! Don’t call these individuals old and certainly don’t expect them to act the same way as previous generations did. As Boomers live longer and longer than any generation before them, they will be seeking out answers to very perplexing questions… ones such as those related to maintaining good health, trying-out new things and pursuing lifelong learning. Empty nesters will look for activities to fill their time. And we Boomers that have spent a lifetime accumulating “stuff” will now be shifting our focus to having satisfying experiences fueling growth in travel, leisure and entertainment. If you are in this group you will also need to make sure your hard-earned assets will last your lifetime so that you can enjoy these “Golden Years” ahead. Here we come to the rescue! Call us and allow us to introduce you to our S.W.A.N. Technique. When it comes to the money you have worked so hard to set-aside for retirement, we promise we will continually work hard to help you Sleep Well At Night!
