Huntley announces branch pickup dates

Published: Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 11:59 p.m. CDT

HUNTLEY – Public works crews will be traveling through Huntley neighborhoods later this month to clean up tree branches.

The village’s semiannual curbside tree branch pickup returns during the week of Sept. 29 for every neighborhood north of Kreutzer Road and again during the week of Oct. 6 for neighborhoods south of Kreutzer Road.

Crews will only pass through each neighborhood one time. Residents must place branches alongside parkways the Monday before collection begins.

The village will not accept tied bundles of branches, bagged materials, yard waste, evergreen materials, bush trimmings, tree stumps and large tree limbs.

For information, call Huntley Public Works at 847-515-5222.
