Week 1 player of the week Q&A: Marengo's Ethan Walsweer

Marengo quarterback Ethan Walsweer threw for three touchdowns and ran for another Friday in the Indians' 45-28 victory at Byron. He completed 18 of 24 passes and rushed 23 times for 117 yards. He was voted the Northwest Herald's Week 1 football player of the week.

Going to Fiji. The water looks amazing.

8. Proudest sports moment?
When I was 12, I was playing in a baseball tournament in Cooperstown, New York under the lights. I hit a single to load the bases then the batter after me hit a grand slam to win it.

9. If you were on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
A knife to cut stuff down to build a shelter. A fishing pole. A cell phone.
