PORT BARRINGTON – One woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after her motorcycle crashed into a guard rail in Port Barrington on Sunday, according to Wauconda Fire District Lt. The woman was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington with minor injuries, Mueller said.

The woman was westbound on Rawson Bridge Road when she ran off the road and hit a guard rail, Mueller said. The road was closed in both directions for about 15 minutes, he said. Mueller did not have any more information on how the crash happened or about the woman involved.
