CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College is inviting area employers to run a booth at a job fair set for the end of October.
The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 30 in the multipurpose room in Building A, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.
The fair is a key component of MCC’s commitment to meet our community’s educational and workforce needs, according to a news release from Donna Bieschke, the college’s marketing communications specialist.
The college holds the fair in conjunction with the McHenry County Workforce Network, the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation, state Sen. Pamela Althoff, R-McHenry, and state Rep. Barbara Wheeler, R-Crystal Lake.
The fair will be open to MCC students and community residents, and is expected to draw a wide range of job-seekers, including those looking for seasonal employment and seasoned professionals looking for career opportunities, Bieschke said.
The fee for an exhibit booth is $75, and advanced registration is required.
The deadline to register is Oct. 19, but early registration is advised, as spaces fill up quickly.
Interested employers can register by downloading an application form at www.mchenry.edu/jobfair.
