Also a magician and known as “The Harry Houdini of Lake Geneva,” Cruzillini performs regularly at The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. “Hypnosis is over 1,000 years old and is being used more and more in the modern medical field – from pain control to dental surgery. The sad part is since not many people understand it, some freak out and call it ‘voodoo,’ ” Cruzillini said. “To eliminate this misconception, I explain to audiences how hypnosis was first used as self-help therapy.
