FESTIVAL OF TREES & SANTA RIDE-IN, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4, Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills. Santa will host the lighting of the Festival of Trees, then join him for a photo opportunity and activities from event sponsors. After viewing the decorated trees on display, spectators can “vote” for their favorite tree by placing nonperishable food or household items in donation bins.
