Police search for man whose car was found in Barrington Hills

Police are searching for a missing Arlington Heights man whose car was located Monday evening in Barrington Hills.

Timothy Anderson, 38, was last seen at his Arlington Heights home at 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Anderson's car was located by the Cook County Forest Preserve Police at the intersection of Donlea Road and Bateman Road in Barrington Hills, near Spring Creek Valley Forest Preserve, at 7 p.m. Monday night.

Police say Anderson is 6 feet tall and 215 pounds with brown or gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a Chicago Bears hooded sweatshirt, a black North Face jacket, a silver wedding ring and a Chicago Bears baseball hat.

Anderson has no known medical or psychological issues. Arlington Heights police were being assisted by the Cook County Forest Preserve Police in search efforts Tuesday.
