Second-half goals by Ismael Abarran and Alonzo Carrillo led Harvard to a 2-0 Kishwaukee River Conference win over Burlington Central on Saturday at Harvard.
Albarran and Adrian Gorostieta had assists, and Jesse Oros made two saves for the undefeated Hornets (12-0-1, 9-0).
McHenry 3, Lakes 2: At Lakes, Alex Fiorita, Sam Partipilo and Connor Uhl scored to give the Warriors a nonconference victory. Fili Garcia, Ian Tapia and Justin Rutherford had assists for the Warriors (13-1-2). Jake King made three saves in the win, despite giving up his first regulation goals this season.
Crystal Lake Central 3, Harlem 0: At Harlem, Cade Klusendorf had a goal and two assists, while Brock Buetow and Gustavo Costa each had a goal and an assist to help the Tigers to a nonconference victory.
Woodstock North 8, Christian Liberty 1: At Hampshire Tournament, Edder Tapia scored four goals and Bartek Scheibe had a hat trick to lead the Thunder (6-9-1) in a nonconference win. Damien Alonzo also scored for the Thunder. Cole Dillon had two assists while Alex Ayala, Luke Foster, Dante Cruz and Mauricio Villanueva all had one. Ethan Ritter made five saves and Alfredo Balleno made three.
Jacobs 0, Naperville Central 0: At Naperville, Ethan Pickering made six saves to help the Golden Eagles (10-3-4) to a scoreless nonconference draw.
