Woodstock ATV crash sends person to hospital with serious injuries, fire official says

WOODSTOCK – An ATV crash sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday, a fire official said.

Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Capt. Brendan Parker said crews responded about 2:50 p.m. to a cornfield near Route 47 and Ware Road in Woodstock.

The person, who fell off the ATV, was taken by Flight for Life to the Level 1 Trauma Center at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Parker said.

Parker did not know what caused the crash, and he could not give more information on the adult who was involved. He said the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office also responded.

The sheriff’s office could not immediately be reached for information.
