Letter: Condon for highway commissioner

Published: Monday, March 20, 2017 10:10 a.m. CDT

Jim Condon has been a close friend for more than 20 years. I know Jim is a great family man, an exceptional civil engineer and an outstanding highway commissioner.

When searching for people to serve in government, Condon fits the bill perfectly. He is a lifelong resident of McHenry and wants our community to succeed. His love for the area is displayed in his many volunteer activities as well as his leadership as McHenry Township highway commissioner.

His experience as a civil engineer is invaluable as he provides outstanding services through his office while saving taxpayer dollars.

Condon slashed more than $15,000 in consultant engineering fees. He has introduced innovative methods of extending roadway life and is looking for more opportunities to save.

I will vote Condon for McHenry Township highway commissioner and suggest you do, too.
