Letter: Most qualified road commissioner candidate

Published: Monday, March 20, 2017 10:08 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

I have known James Condon for more than 30 years and can attest to the fact he is a hardworking, honest community-minded resident. In addition to that, he is a professional engineer specializing in roadways and drainage. He also has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is the most qualified candidate for McHenry Township road commissioner.

I also will be voting for the other independent candidates who have kept the township tax levy flat for the past six years and have reduced the tax levy by 10 percent this year. These candidates include: Craig Adams, supervisor; Marsha Nelson, clerk; Gary Barla, Sue Draffkorn, Neal Shepler and Craig Wallce, trustees.

They possess the knowledge and experience to continue to reduce your taxes and provide impeccable township services.
