High school girls soccer roundup: Woodstock North shuts out Harvard in KRC

Woodstock North sophomore Taylor Prerost scored three goals, and senior Daniela Miranda added a goal and an assist as the Thunder defeated Harvard, 5-0, in a Kishwaukee River Conference girls soccer match Monday in Woodstock.

Sophomore Anicca Mackay-Slavin made four saves to earn the shutout.

Genoa-Kingston 1, Marengo 0: At Marengo, Jordan Corner made six saves for the Indians in a nonconference loss.

Wauconda 2, Dundee-Crown 0: At the Elk Grove Tournament, Dundee-Crown goalkeeper Diana Santillan-Ceja made eight saves in a loss to Wauconda. The Chargers (0-3-0) surrendered goals in the 10th minute and the 78th minute. 

Downers Grove North 1, Cary-Grove 0: At the Elk Grove Tournament, the Trojans were shut out against Downers Grove North.
