High school boys tennis: Cary-Grove splits nonconference matches at Grayslake Central Quad

Cary-Grove split two nonconference matches on Monday in a quad at Grayslake Central, beating Warren, 4-2, and losing, 6-1, to Libertyville.  

No. 1 singles player Mike Ptaszek was the only Trojan to win in both matches. Ptaszek had to go to three sets in both matches.

Against Warren, the Trojans (19-5) also got wins from Sam Sitarski at No. 2 singles, as well as No. 2 doubles pairing Luke Weber and Kevin McDonald, and No. 3 pairing Colin Enstrom and Teddy Price.
