To the Editor:
Litter Bugs live off Northshore Drive in Crystal Lake, and once a year, I take my garbage can and walk from Oak Court to Route 14 and back picking up garbage from Northshore Drive. It seems to be the same people who litter, as I find the same stuff over and over again, notably Marlboro cigarette boxes, little vodka bottles, McDonald’s pop containers, french fry boxes, Taco Bell waste and beer cans and bottles. I’m appalled at what type of person would voluntarily throw their garbage onto a public roadway, but over and over again? Do you not have a garbage receptacle at your home in which to put this stuff? What gives you the right to litter where we live? We don’t throw trash in your yard, so why throw it on our street. Have some common decency here and stop this immature behavior.
