Johnsburg senior basketball player Aannah Interrante announced Friday on Twitter her commitment to play for Division I Bradley in Peoria.

Interrante, the 2017 Northwest Herald Girls Basketball Player of the Year, averaged 15.7 points a game as a junior and was named the Kishwaukee River Conference Player of the Year. Interrante, a 5-foot-10 shooting guard, is fourth in career scoring at Johnsburg with 1,245 points.

Bradley went 12-19 last season, 7-11 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Braves have not had a winning season since they went 18-16 in 2011-12.
