Dundee-Crown athletic director Steve Gertz made two announcements Friday regarding Saturday’s Fox Valley Conference Cross Country Meet at Hickory Nut Grove.

The races have been moved up one hour because of impending inclement weather, so start time for the varsity girls race is 9 a.m., with the varsity boys race at 10.

Also, Gertz said there will be no parking for spectators at the preserve. Gertz is asking fans to park at Fel-Pro RRR, another McHenry County Conservation District facility, at 1520 Crystal Lake Road in Cary. There will be buses shuttling spectators from Fel-Pro RRR to Hickory Nut Grove, and back, for the races.
