To the Editor:
In response to the recent letter about driverless trucks: There are four lanes on Interstate 90 and four lanes on Route 53. Trucks are supposed to use the right lane; often, we need to use all four. You four-wheelers use all four, and some are pretty rude to truck drivers. So if there is a truck driving in the hammer lane, he is obviously there for a reason, just like yourself. Just remember there are three, yes, three other lanes you can use instead of getting upset about a truck in the hammer lane. And no, driverless trucks will not happen in our lifetime. Drive safe.
