High school boys bowling: Johnsburg's Murtaugh rolls season-best 687 series in loss to Belvidere

Tony Murtaugh rolled a season-best 687 series for the Johnsburg boys bowling team Monday in a 3,233-3,213 loss to Belvidere at Raymond's Bowl in Johnsburg.

Murtaugh rolled single games of 244, 224 and 219 for the Skyhawks. Ray Jargstorf had a 555 series, Jacob Smith had a 516, Cody Onopa had a 496, Noah Clements had a 484 and Cade Wizceb had a 475. Ben Deardorff led the Bucs with a 584 series and 235 high game.

Jargstorf had a high game of 206, Clements had a 204, and Smith had a 200.
