Crystal Lake Central junior Maddie Haslow contributed on both ends of the court Friday as the Tigers topped Fox Valley Conference foe Hampshire, 30-29, in Crystal Lake.
Haslow provided Central (3-4, 1-1 FVC) with 11 points, six rebounds, four steals and three blocks. Cori Hamill added six points, two assists and two blocks, while Megan Wozniak had five points, five steals and four rebounds.
Kelby Bannerman put together a double-double for Hampshire (3-4, 1-1) with 13 points and 15 rebounds to go along with a pair of steals. Sarah Bowen had six points, eight rebounds and two steals, and Ally Cermak contributed six points, four rebounds and two steals. Morgan Haefling added seven steals.
Johnsburg 75, Harvard 12: At Harvard, the Skyhawks ended a three-game skid and came out firing with 27 points in the first quarter of their Kishwaukee River Conference win.
Morgan Madsen led Johnsburg (4-3, 1-1) with 15 points. Megan Madsen knocked a down a trio of 3-pointers on her way to 13 points, Kayla Stefka added 13 points, and Heather Arden hit four 3s to finish with 12 points.
Harvard (1-5, 0-2) made only five field goals and finished 1 of 10 from the free-throw line. The Hornets scored three points in the second half.
Woodstock 50, Richmond-Burton 32: At Richmond, the Blue Streaks won their second KRC game of the week behind 15 points from Emma Brand.
Camryn Tafoya connected on a pair of 3-pointers on her way to 10 points, while Autumn Overly and Nicole Piquette had eight and seven points, respectively, for Woodstock (2-5, 2-0).
Kasey Miller had a game-high 17 points for R-B (1-6, 0-2).
Prairie Ridge 58, Crystal Lake South 47 (OT): At Crystal Lake, the Wolves were given a scare in their FVC game before outscoring South, 12-1, in overtime.
Karly Statter knocked down four 3-pointers and led all scorers with 28 points. Prairie Ridge (5-3, 1-1) also received 14 points from Emily Perhats, who went 9 of 10 from the free-throw line. Nicole Dorn added seven points.
South (1-5, 0-2) was topped by Lauren Schoen, who also hit 9 of 10 free throws to finish with 17 points. Madelynn Bush had 12 points in the loss.
Marengo 59, Woodstock North 31: At Woodstock, the Indians won their second straight KRC game with Marissa Knobloch hitting four 3s to finish with 17 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists.
Marengo (6-2, 2-0) also received 10 points and five rebounds from Jordan Parker. Lauren Aubry had eight points, and Hannah Ritter provided four points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Taylor Prerost led North (1-6, 0-1) with 12 points.
