High school girls bowling: McHenry tops Woodstock co-op by 16 pins; Huntley beats Marengo

Destiny Draheim rolled a 468 series to lead the McHenry girls bowling team to a 2,033-2,017 win against Woodstock co-op at Raymond's Bowl in Johnsburg on Thursday.

Woodstock's Rachael Stieg had the high series (486) of the match, and McHenry's Veronica Chrisman had the high game (220). Chrisman had a 464 series for the Warriors (1-0), Caitlin Hicks had a 375, Jessica Taylor had a 369 and Maypril Krukowski had a 357.

For Woodstock, Rhiannon Young had a 471, Halas Sardelli had a 378, Joanna Watson had a 346, and Ashley Lehan had a 336.

Huntley 2,046, Marengo 1,930: At Bowl-Hi Lanes in Huntley, Mary Boffa rolled a 445 high series and 174 high game for the Red Raiders.
