Letters to the Editor

Letter: Don't forget President Donald Trump

To the Editor:

In a recent letter, Barbara Klein wrote “What I would like to know is when former U.S. President Bill Clinton is going to be called to account for his sexual sins. There is a long line of women who have accused Clinton, including Jaunnita Broadrick, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky and Kathy Willy, just to name a few.”

I offer no criticism, except to point out that the current White House occupant got a pass. There was no mention of the 15 women who have accused President Donald Trump of “sexual sins.”

Here is the list:  Jessica Leeds (early 1980s) – groping; Ivana Trump (1989) – rape; Kristin Anderson (early 1990s) – groping; Jill Harth (1993) – attempted rape; Temple McDowell (1997) – inappropriate kissing; Cathy Heller (1997) – inappropriate kissing; Karena Virginia (1998) – groping; Mindy McGillivray (2003) – groping; Natasha Stoynoff (2005) – inappropriate kissing; Jennifer Murphy (2005) – inappropriate kissing; Rachel Crooks (2005) – inappropriate kissing; Ninni Laaksonen (2006) – groping; Jessica Drake (2006) – $10,000 proposition for sex; Summer Zervos (2007) – groping; and Cassandra Searles (2013) – groping.

In addition, there is the deplorable behavior described on the 2016 “Access Hollywood” tape and the ogling of naked girls in the 1997 Miss Teen USA contestants’ dressing room.

Klein’s letter concludes with “It’s time for them (Clintons) to join the real world and be treated like the rest of us.”  To avoid hypocrisy, maybe President Trump should also be “treated like the rest of us.”
