High school boys swimming: Jacobs co-op wins team title at St. Viator

The Jacobs co-op boys swimming team won the team title Wednesday at the St. Viator Invitational in Arlington Heights.

Jacobs co-op won with 304 points, followed by Prospect with 249. St. Viator (228 points) was third, and Huntley (172) was fourth.

Harold Ogaban, Elijah Stuart, Eric Boysen and Reid Coyle won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.10. Obagan won the 200 freestyle (1:50.23), Stuart won the 50 free (23.39), Boysen won the 100 butterfly (56.25), Stuart won the 100 free (51.29), and Ogaban won the 100 backstroke (55.42). Vince Chiappetta, Stuart, Boysen and Ogaban also placed first in the 400 free relay in 3:26.79.

Jacobs co-op's Alec Orndahl was runner-up in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly. Huntley's Max Hagberg took second in the 100 free.
