ALGONQUIN — Police needed to control traffic early Friday morning after a crash involving at least two vehicles in Algonquin.

Emergency vehicles and two cars with moderate to severe damage blocked part of Algonquin Road eastbound at Hanson Road around 7 a.m. Friday.

Lake in the Hills police and members of Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District responded to the scene but did not immediately respond to calls seeking information Friday morning.

It was not clear if anyone was injured in the crash.
