Surveillance footage from recent bank robberies in Cary, Huntley, Arlington Heights and now Streamwood show what appears to be the same man, donning a black wig and lengthy beard, demanding money from tellers. The FBI has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's capture.
The most recent robbery was Wednesday night at a grocery store in Streamwood.
The man, his face obscured by a black beard and aviator-style sunglasses, can be seen in security camera footage leaning over the counter at a TCF Bank branch just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. FBI investigators released a still image of the incident, along with still images from the other robberies, on its online bank robber database.
The footage was taken at a Jewel-Osco grocery store at 217 Irving Park Road, according to the FBI website.
Neither Streamwood police nor FBI officials immediately responded to calls seeking information on the circumstances surrounding the robbery Friday afternoon.
