High school wrestling: Huntley places four at Al Dvorak Invite; Jacobs' Harrier is runner-up at 120 pounds

Huntley placed four wrestlers and finished third overall Saturday at the 30th Al Dvorak Invitational at Harlem High School in Machesney Park.

LaSalle (Cincinnati, Ohio) won the team title with 242 points, and Huntley (142 points) was third. Crystal Lake Central (79.5) placed 18th out of 35 teams, and Jacobs (46.5) was 27th.

The Red Raiders had the best finish of any Illinois school. Huntley's Sammy Spencer was third at 113 pounds, Zach Spencer took third at 126 pounds, Juan Quiroz was third at 170 pounds, and Justin Allen was fourth at 195 pounds.

Jake Harrier of Jacobs was runner-up in the 120-pound weight class, while Crystal Lake Central's Liam O'Donnell finished fifth at 185 pounds, and Caden Ernd (132) took eighth.
