Daniel Plushkis, 26, and Jessica Plushkis, 28, of the 900 block of Golf Course Road, Crystal Lake, remained at the McHenry County Jail on robbery charges Tuesday.
McHenry County Judge Robert Wilbrandt set each of their bonds at $200,000 Monday, meaning they would need to post $20,000 bail each to be released, jail records show.
Algonquin police arrested the pair Saturday at the TCF Bank inside Jewel-Osco, 103 S. Randall Road, police said.
Officers had been alerted to a robbery, during which a man with a fake beard demanded money from a bank teller and fled with the cash, police said.
Members of the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District were collecting donations for The Salvation Army outside the store as the man fled.
A bystander stopped the man, and members of the department assisted in detaining him, police said.
This marks the third local bank robbery this month.
A bearded, wigged man robbed a Chase bank in Cary, 300 Route 14, on Dec 1. The suspect implied he had a weapon.
A similar robbery occurred Dec. 10, when a person in a similar disguise escaped with cash after robbing a TCF bank at Jewel-Osco in Huntley.
The FBI and local police are investigating those crimes as well as similar robberies that they said could be connected in Streamwood and Arlington Heights.
