Cory Knipp tossed in 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting for Huntley in a 52-41 victory over Chicago Douglass in the consolation third-place game at the DeKalb Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic on Saturday in DeKalb.
Knipp added three assists with a 3-pointer for the Red Raiders (3-9), who finished 2-2 in the tournament. Huntley outscored the Tigers, 38-12, in the second and third quarters.
Patrick Roppolo (two 3s), Ryan Sroka (two 3s) and Uchenna Egekeze (five rebounds) tallied eight points each. Ryan Crosby chipped in seven points and four rebounds, and Davis Pasco had five points and a team-high four assists for Huntley.
Hampshire 69, Chicago ACE Tech 41: At the DeKalb Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic in DeKalb, all 13 players for the Whip-Purs scored in the consolation seventh-place game.
Justin Anderson led Hampshire (3-9) with nine points, three steals and two blocks, and Collin Woods, Kyle Johnson and Marcus Lazar tossed in eight points each. Drew Dalby scored seven points, and J.D. Shaw added six points and a team-high seven rebounds.
The Whips made 58.7 percent (27 of 46) of their shots.
Grayslake Central 63, Dundee-Crown 51: At the Wheeling Wildcat Hardwood Classic in Wheeling, Gabe Bergeron had a game-high 28 points on 10-of-13 shooting in the tournament-ending loss for D-C. He drained two 3s and sank 6 of 9 free throws.
The Chargers (7-6) held a 20-17 lead after the first quarter, but the Rams blitzed D-C, 20-7, in the second and took a 32-27 lead into halftime.
Brad Stec scored nine points, and Jordan Hairston added five points and a 3. Alec Orndahl tallied four points and a team-high five rebounds. Damarion Butler had four assists and six steals.
