Car strikes utility pole, home in Fox Lake

FOX LAKE – No one was injured after a vehicle lost control Thursday night and struck a utility pole and home in Fox Lake.

Fox Lake firefighters responded to a reported crash about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7100 block of Lexington Lane in Fox Lake, Deputy Fire Chief Ed Lescher said.

It appeared a car had lost control on the road, then struck a utility pole and a house. No one was injured in the incident.

Fox Lake police also were at the scene, but no one was available Friday to comment on potential citations, how the crash occurred or who was involved.
