Huntley 42, Crystal Lake South 34: Huntley’s Raquel Radermacher sank 11 of 12 free throws and scored a game-high 17 points Saturday for the Red Raiders in a Fox Valley Conference victory against Crystal Lake South in Huntley.
Radermacher and Kamsi Nwogu (12 points), both freshmen, combined for 29 of the Raiders’ 42 points en route to the team’s second consecutive win.
Anna Seng added seven points for Huntley (3-13 overall, 2-6 FVC), and Mallory Moffett tossed in four points. Huntley finished 16 of 20 from the free-throw line.
Lauren Schoen paced the Gators (6-10, 1-6) with 13 points and a 3-pointer, Brooke Kuffel supplied seven points and a 3, and Maddie Bush had five points. Kyra Swartz scored four points in the loss. South went 10 of 18 from the free-throw line.
Woodstock North 47, Hinckley-Big Rock 35: At Hinckley, Kaitlyn Ford tossed in a team-high 12 points and a 3 for the Thunder (4-15) in the nonconference victory. Sami Long had 11 points and a 3, and Taylor Prerost had 10 points and was 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.
Madison Czischki added five points and a 3 for North, which outscored Hinckley, 16-8, in the fourth quarter. The win was North’s 100th since the school opened in fall 2009.
Fenwick 69, Johnsburg 55: At the Chicagoland Invitational Showcase hosted at Fremd High School in Palatine, Morgan Madsen scored 18 points for the Skyhawks (11-6). Megan Madsen added 12 points for Johnsburg.
