Johnsburg's Tony Murtaugh rolled the high series and high game to lead the Skyhawks to a 3,182-2,315 boys bowling win against Westminster Christian on Wednesday at Elgin Lanes in Elgin.
Murtaugh rolled a 616 series and had a high game of 226 for Johnsburg, also adding a single game of 212.
Jacob Smith rolled a 544 series with a high game of 213, Derek Barnette had a 522 with a 214, and Noah Clements had a 518 with a 201. Cody Onopa added a 494 series, and Ray Jargstorf bowled a 488 for the Skyhawks.
McHenry 3,077, Woodstock co-op 2,918: At Raymond's Bowl in Johnsburg, Ryan Hicks rolled a 598 high series, including single games of 201 and 204, in a win for the Warriors.
Ramsey Trost had a 572 series and Shane McCue rolled a 506 series. Both rolled single games of 211. Wyatt Glave contributed a 550 series, and Norman Swanson rolled a 437.
Woodstock's Ed Zurawski had the high game of the match with a 240 and bowled a 569. David Kruse matched Zurawski with a 569 series and Brandon Dodaro had a 527 with a single game of 208.
Mason Hurless bowled a 434, Gavin Bishop had a 412, and Brendan Matthes had a 407.
