Cary-Grove's recent hot streak has vaulted the Trojans into this week's power rankings.

1. McHenry (18-1): The Warriors beat Hampshire, 53-48, and Crystal Lake South, 70-32, to improve to 7-0 in the FVC. McHenry has won 14 games in a row and is averaging 65.1 points.
2. Dundee-Crown (11-7): The Chargers stopped a two-game skid with a 42-30 victory against Hampshire, getting 16 points from Kennedy White and seven apiece from Payton Schmidt and Gianine Boado. D-C is now 6-3 in the FVC, trailing only McHenry, and should get 6-foot-2 post Maddie Tripp (foot) back in time for its next game.
3. Marian Central (12-7): The Hurricanes' four-game winning streak ended with a 62-38 East Suburban Catholic Conference loss to Marian Catholic, but Central is still 7-3 over the last 10 games. Vannessa Garrelts recorded 22 of the Hurricanes' 38.
4. Cary-Grove (11-7): The Trojans stormed back from an 11-point deficit against Prairie Ridge, scoring 31 points in the fourth and beating the Wolves, 54-48, on Tuesday. C-G has won three straight games and is 6-2 over its last eight. The Trojans are now 5-3 in the FVC.
5. Johnsburg (12-6): The Skyhawks lost to Fenwick, 69-55, at the Chicagoland Showcase and beat Harvard, 71-24, to pull within one-half game of Burlington Central in the Kishwaukee River Conference standings. Going back to last year, Johnsburg has won 17 of its last 18 conference games. Megan Madsen had 20 points with four 3s against the Hornets.
