High school girls gymnastics: Prairie Ridge wins Neuqua Valley Invite with season high in points

Clancy Raupp (Crystal Lake Central) and Ciara Ryan (Crystal Lake South) tied for the all-around title to lead the Prairie Ridge co-op girls gymnastics team to the championship of the Neuqua Valley Invitational on Saturday in Naperville.

Raupp finished first on beam (9.45) and fourth on vault (9.25) and bars (9.4). Ryan took first on bars (9.65) and second on vault (9.35). The Wolves had a season-high 150.175 points. Lincoln-Way co-op was second with 144.325 points, and Lake Park (141.7) finished third.

Kira Karlblom (Prairie Ridge) placed first on vault (9.4) and floor (9.65) and second (9.5) on bars (9.5). Maddy Kim (Prairie Ridge) was third on beam (9.375), bars (9.45) and vault (9.3) and finished third overall in the all-around. Karlblom was fifth in the all-around.

Katarina Schaffer (Prairie Ridge) was third on floor (9.55).
