High school boys swimming roundup: Cary-Grove co-op wins 10 of 11 events to best Huntley

Cary-Grove co-op's boys swimming team took first place in 10 of 11 events Tuesday to earn a 123-47 Fox Valley Conference dual win over Huntley at Sage YMCA in Crystal Lake.

C-G co-op, which also draws swimmers from Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake Central and Prairie Ridge, received two individual wins from Cole Seeger. The C-G sophomore won the 200 individual medley in 2:09.49 and took the top spot in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.63).

Kolin Fadden (C-G) won the 50 freestyle (23.11), Hunter Jackson (PR) captured the 100 butterfly (58.99), and Peyton Richardson (PR) won the 100 freestyle (52.97). Connor Dolezal (C-G) took first in the 500 freestyle (5:12.96), and Noah Siegmeier (PR) claimed the top spot in the 100 backstroke (56.94).

Siegmeier, Jacob Manley (PR), Richardson and Will Hartnett (PR) combined to win the 200 medley relay (1:44.58). Fadden, Seeger, JT Matthias (PR) and Cameron Castro (CLS) teamed up to take first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.93), and Fadden, Castro, Michael Bartczyszyn (C-G) and Nick Gerstbrein (C-G) won the 400 freestyle relay (3:30.96).

Huntley's Maxwell Hagberg won the 200 freestyle (1:55.72).
