To the Editor:
On behalf of Grafton Food Pantry, we would like to extend our gratitude to our donors and volunteers whose generosity keeps our doors open and allows us to work to end hunger in the community.
Our volunteers work tirelessly each and every day to serve our neighbors in need. Their positive attitude and dedication is unparalleled. Special thanks to several of the local churches, athletic organizations and service groups that do so much for us throughout the entire year: Donations of food, monetary donations, volunteerism and participating in special projects, to name just a few.
The individuals and businesses that adopted families and sponsored dinners made the holidays so much brighter during this special season.
We are especially appreciative to
PUB 47’s Adam Brancamp, Gordon Smith, Ben Mottashed, Ryan Henrikson, Jordan Threloff, Chef Hennessey for sponsoring the second annual Stuff the Bus event. The entire staff promoted the event and made it a huge success. Their commitment to our organization is remarkable.
The community was amazing in their support of donations that will help to fill our shelves for many, many months. Santa Claus even dropped by for the festivities. The true spirit of the holidays was alive and well in Huntley.
Thanks to Mike Ritter of Advantage Movers Algonquin for providing storage units and to Crystal Lake Brewing for their participation.
