To the Editor:
I want to thank the Good Samaritan who came to my aid on Jan. 5. I was at a gas station in Huntley when I had a problem with the pump and my car would not start.
When the attendant inside would not help me, a man who saw me upset stopped to help.
This man used his own money to make sure my car was filled up properly and he got my car to start. The temperatures were dangerously cold and he stopped to help when no one else did.
We only hear about the negative things in life, but seldom about the good. This man, who only identified himself as Sean, went above and beyond for a person who needed help. Thank you.
I want everyone to know that there are still good and caring people out there and one of them was named Sean.
